The White River Tourist Information Centre The tourist centre in White River is a hub of tourist activity that begins with a large monument to its most famous resident, Winne-the-Pooh. As well as providing comprehensive tourist information, the centre also offers tours of the Domtar Sawmill, tours of an authentic CP Rail Caboose, picnic area, playground, gardens and washrooms. The centre is open in the summer from 8am to 9pm, and in the fall and spring from 9am to 5pm. Address: Highway 17 White River ON
